About

The Right Track with Chuck Armstrong began in April 2007, right around the time when Imus and his whole scandal was taking place. You can read my first post here. That summer, I traveled to New York City to work at WABC-AM for a few months…While there, I started The Right Track radio program on WBAR-FM, a student radio station for Columbia University. It aired every Sunday evening from 6-8p. After New York City, it was back to the Midwest, to the Little Apple of Manhattan, Kansas, where the radio program and blog continued to grow.

The Right Track with Chuck Armstrong aired every Monday from 5-6:30pm, on The Wildcat 91.9, KSDB-FM, and featured the student body president/vice president of Kansas State University, in addition to prominent interviews with the likes of Shirley Phelps-Roper, Sam Brownback, Grover Norquist, Jonah Goldberg, Curtis Sliwa, Robert Spencer, Jim Ryun, Andrew Wilkow, Lynn Jenkins and on and on and on.

In the Spring of ‘08, The Right Track with Chuck Armstrong received 2 Kansas Association of Broadcaster’s awards for Entertainment Program of the Year, one for a show that broadcasted in NYC and the other for one that broadcasted in Kansas. These awards were in addition to 5 others I received for various broadcast work.

Come May of 2008, The Right Track broadcasted it’s final episode on The Wildcat 91.9. Currently, the program does not air (although, that may change someday soon). BUT, The Right Track lives on in this blog, and will continue to grow and reach many.

Enjoy.
